The 'Violet House' - Rental Agreement

Reservations:

To reserve your stay at 'The Violet House' (116 N Main Street, Naples, New York), you need to agree to the conditions in this rental agreement. You will be asked to sign this agreement upon your arrival.
To guarantee you reservation in advance of your arrival, a deposit of at least one night's rental needs to be received. Should you cancel your stay at least 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations after that time may be subject to a $50 rebooking fee.
Upon arrival, payment equal to the rental amount for the entire stay will be due, as well as a security deposit equal to one night's rental. If home is left clean and in good condition, the security deposit will be refunded to your account within 7 days of your departure.

Guest Responsibilities:

Guest should take good care of the property and is responsible for washing any dishes, utensils, and cookware that are used during the stay. Electronic equipment is sensitive to damage if misused. If you do not know how to operate the equipment, please ask homeowners for assistance.
Guest is not allowed to remove from premises any electronic equipment, furniture, appliances, linens, or towels, or other non-consumable items (the contents of each room have been logged and photographed). Only consumable items such as food, toiletries, or newspapers may be removed.
Guest will be directly responsible to the homeowner for any damage or injury not covered by the security/damage deposit. If there is no claim agains the security/damage deposit, the deposit will be refunded to the guest within 7 days of the end of occupancy by the guest.
Guests are held responsible for any damage that is done by their children while staying on the property. Please supervise them.
Guest will not hold homeowner responsible for personal injury, stolen or damaged property or vehicles, or other damages that occur while a guest at 'The Violet House'.

Homeowner Responsibilities:

Homeowner will provide accomodations that are clean and neat, including clean linens, towels, soap, toiletries, and paper products.
Clean linens and towels will be provided in an amount sufficient for guest's length of stay, but will not be changed or laundered during the time of stay, i.e. thre are no "maid services".
Homeowner will make reasonable efforts to ensure the safety and comfort of guests during their stay, including security through locks accessible only by guests and homeowner. Fire extinguishers and smoke alarms are also in use throughout premises.
Provide guest with a 10% discount on all purchases made at 'The Violet Barn' during their stay (not valid with other offers or discounts).
